Snowy & Cold here in Colorado!

Wow! The past few days have been frigid where I live in N. Colorado. I forgot how cold it can be here and when you add the wind...it bites right through you. But, I like the cold and snow. I'm not sure why but I think because I get to stay inside more and enjoy the things that I love the most like my 3 dogs, Mitzi, Buddy & Sister and my "not so friendly" cat Pearl. I enjoy drinking coffee and reading a book, curling up and watching a good movie. I realize more and more that it's the simplest things that make me happy. When the world around us seems to have gone completely bonkers, I am thankful everyday that I live in a beautiful area, that I have a warm and comfortable home, that my pets are healthy and happy and that most of all, I am loved by a wonderful husband and friends that I hold dear to my heart. I hope you have peace and happiness in the midst of a crazy time. Take the time to enjoy the simple things that make you happy.
